Since 1970, Combined Health Agencies has worked to better health in the San Diego community.  Twenty-five chapters of local and national health agencies comprise the Combined Health Agencies.

Each agency is dedicated to providing education, client services and research to the San Diego community.  Member agencies demonstrate community-wide efforts for the particular health concern they are working to treat, prevent, control or eradicate.

Collectively, the member agencies reach over 1.3 million local clients and have given over $1 billion in local research grants.

As an umbrella organization, Combined Health Agencies is governed by a volunteer board of directors who represent member agencies and the community at large.

The organization's mission is "to improve our community's health by supporting member agencies through employee and corporate giving."   To achieve that goal, Combined Health Agencies is a partner in the United Way/CHAD Campaign - we're the "CHAD" (Combined Health Agencies Drive) in United Way/CHAD.

In addition, Combined Health Agencies also participates in the Combined Federal Campaign, the workplace giving campaign for federal employees.  For more information about Combined Health Agencies, call (858) 636-4158.
