BIOCOM Honors

Combined Health Agencies

    

      Combined Health Agencies was honored by BIOCOM as the Community Partner of the Year.  The award is presented annually to an organization from the San Diego community for outstanding support of the life sciences industry in San Diego.  Past recipients have included KPBS, the Southern California Biotechnology Center at Miramar College and The San Diego Foundation.

     Organizations who receive the award demonstrate support for life sciences, are actively involved in working with BIOCOM in a substantial manner and are spokespersons for the industry, performing one or more key strategic activities that have led to forward progress in the industry’s efforts to grow. 

     Combined Health Agencies was selected for connecting the BIOCOM member organizations to patients battling the diseases and conditions that those in the life science community are tirelessly working to cure.

     BIOCOM is the largest regional life science association in the world, representing more than 575 member companies in Southern California. The association focuses on initiatives that positively influence the region’s life science community in the development and delivery of innovative products that improve health and quality of life. This includes initiatives in capital formation, public policy, workforce development, group purchasing and member services such as networking events.
